Ancasta Brokers Comments:
Simple, easy to handle and sea worthy are all characteristics of the Freedom 30. This owner has sailed her around the British Isles whilst other Freedom owners have ventured further afield testonomy to the fact that despite her unconventional rig layout these boats sail very well and provide a well thought out and comfortable interior.

Owners Comments
I have owned Scot Free since June 1999. She is the last Freedom 30 ever built in this country (1990) and therefore the newest Freedom 30 which will ever come on to the second hand market.

In 2006 & 2007 I was able to fulfill a long held ambition to sail Scot Free around the British Isles all in all a truly memorable adventure

Scot Free has been a fun boat to both own and sail. She has also been for me a serious cruising yacht. She is easy to sail, either single-handed or with a short-handed crew (husband & wife); she can be sailed either locally or cruised further a field.

Scot Free has been regularly maintained during my ownership. In recent years she has had new sails and has been treated to prevent osmosis. She is presented in good order.
