Plymouth is steeped in Maritime history including the Pilgrim Fathers setting sail for the New World, Sir Francis Drake, has and is the start and finish of many international yachting races including Transat and the Fastnet races.
Plymouth is well know as a City of the Sea and is the sailing capital of the Westcountry with over 1500 marina berths and easy access to all the major Westcountry Ports, Harbours and Rivers.
The office is situated in Queen Anne’s Battery which has 235 berths and benefits from all the on site facilities that any boat owner would need, as well as The Royal Western Yacht Club. The office is also ideally situated for easy access to all the other marinas and moorings.

Lynda Pitsakis
As Brokerage Administrator my role is to keep the office records up to date, dealing with correspondence, responding to emails, maintenance of databases and assistance with marketing and sales. With a degree in personnel management and previous work experience in advertising sales I provide a positive input into marketing our boat listings and am here to ensure the smooth running of the office and assist with boat viewings

Welcome to Plymouth! With extensive knowledge of some of the West Country’s beautiful coastline and over 25 years working in the marine industry I have a wealth of knowledge and experience to share. A former engineer within the marine sector and yacht rigger, I am now in my 10th year with Ancasta as a yacht broker and New Prestige Luxury Motor Yachts representative. Passionate about yachting I have experience of sailing at all levels. With solid knowledge of both power and sailing vessels I am here to help with all your enquiries regarding selling and buying new and used boats.

Ginny Sowton
After many years working in marketing and advertising I am pleased to join the brokerage office in Plymouth and to be part of the Beneteau new boat sales team. Having a background in the charter yacht industry, sailing multihulls around the Caribbean, working on a private motor yacht in the Mediterranean and blue water cruising on my own 33ft Moody means I have experience and knowledge of some of the worlds favourite cruising grounds. Having the opportunity to be back in an industry that I have a real passion for is an exciting step for me and I look forward to meeting you here in the West Country.
