"Iona" was launched in Lake Windermere in 2006 and was very lightly used before being sold on to her 2nd owner who used her mainly as a "floating cottage". She was then sold on in 2008 to the previous owner by which time the sails had only been out once and the engine had approximately only 30 hrs on the meter! She was then transported to Scotland by road and again used lightly by these owners. When we purchased her, we sailed her South to the Solent in 2014 where she has only been sailed locally.
She was epoxied and copper coated in 2008 before being launched in to the sea and has been lifted, cleaned and polished regularly since. Last lifted at the beginning of 2017 when the anodes and the stern gland were renewed. She is in very good condition throughout.
