The main saloon has a seating area to starboard and a dining table which is not fixed to the floor but does have an adjustable leg so that it can be lowered to make a coffee table. Access to the engine room is through a hatch in the saloon floor.

Access to the very spacious cockpit is through two glass sliding doors. There are nicely fitted blinds on the saloon windows and curtains for the sliding doors.

This lightly used Swift Trawler 42 is very well presented. The hull design offers a stable platform in poor weather and a large volume in which to fit generous accommodation. This is a great design for touring in comfort. It had a substantial upgrade of equipment in 2016 and is a most attractive package. A berth in Lymington Yacht Haven is available for the year 2018-19.
Having bought the boat in March 2016, most of the year was spent on works and improvements. I recall, we had maybe three trips locally in the Solent. To date, we have taken the boat out about a dozen times and ventured no further than the Needles or Southampton. I have only taken the boat out once without a professional skipper on board. He has been looking after the boat and teaching me to handle it.
