630 Motor Yacht

Long range cruising in complete tranquility

This is a boat for seeing the world, not just a boat for others to see. This is what will set it apart from its competitors who are mainly building short range, high consumption motorboats with two hulls. The 630 is for people who have done their share of fast motor boating and want to extend their horizons much, much further. It will also appeal to sailors who want guaranteed arrival times, while still enjoying the intrinsic pleasure of getting there.

    Graham Laver

    Lagoon Brand Manager

Graham has worked in the marine industry since qualifying as a marine engineer ’94, after which he ran the yacht sales and charter management division of a large charter company for 13 years.

During this time Graham saw the explosion in popularity of catamaran sailing at first hand, so jumped at the opportunity to specialise in multihull sales for Ancasta in 2007. He has raced and cruised extensively on cats and monos of all kinds and has enjoyed two transatlantic crossings.

    Mike Wedge

    Lagoon Sales Team

Mike Wedge is the brokerage manager for Ancasta Brighton. Having have been on the Lagoon team for a good number of years he has been sailing since he was 4 years old, and since then his involvement with yacht design, tuition and sailing holidays to name a few, have taken him all over the world.

Mike loves the concept of catamaran sailing and considers it a great way to cruise in comfort with space to take all the provisions and toys whilst still having room to relax. He has been on several good delivery trips aboard the Lagoons, including deliveries from the Lagoon factory to Southampton, which always proves an invaluable learning experience and Mike has a very sound and detailed knowledge of the product.

    Mike Christie

    Lagoon Sales Team

Mike Christie is well-versed on the subject of all things boat and sea related. Having been introduced to dinghy sailing at just six years old and spending many childhood summers exploring Scotland and Ireland on his parents’ yacht, sailing is a lifelong passion and certainly runs in his blood - so much so that he has even sailed around the world as a Bowman and Watch Leader on an amateur round the world yacht race. He now enjoys racing multihulls.
As well as sailing for fun, Mike has extensive experience working as a qualified Yacht Master, skippering deliveries and corporate yacht charters as well as teaching sailing. It is Mike’s expansive log of sailing miles that has helped him to build up an incredible wealth of knowledge about sailboats, large and small, new and old. He understands the dynamics of different boats and has firsthand experience of sailing an assortment of styles and models, which has given him a solid grounding for yacht brokerage and the expertise to help his customers get the most from their sail or power boat, whether they are buying or selling.
Mike also has experience working for the Ancasta Aftersales and commissioning teams so his technical knowledge of sailboat and powerboat systems and practical know-how is second to none; Mike can provide sound advice about refit opportunities, racing optimisation, system upgrades and ongoing maintenance enquiries.
