McConaghy Boats has now been an established business for over 45 years, with the current owners involved for the last 18.
The business' growth has always been internally funded and the company is proud to have never had any external debt. McConaghy now have facilities in Sydney, Australia and Zhuhai, China, with offices in Hong Kong and Macau.
The companies are 100% Australian owned and operated jointly by Mark Evans and Jono Morris. McConaghy Boats China is a Wholly Owned Foreign Enterprise (WOFE) whose holding company is located in Hong Kong.
Over the last 10 years the company has built over 900 boats with a total value in excess of $120 million.
Currently McConaghy Boats employs 190 staff worldwide and remains the world leader in Race Boat manufacture.
McConaghy Boats are recognised as world leaders in composite technology. The skills and techniques they employ have seen many yacht designers employing the established expertise of their builders, to ensure their own products have the very best possible chance of success in today's highly competitive industry.
Forged partnerships have lead to the Ker, MC and Botin ranges of modern high performance racing yachts. These boats from the outset have had huge success across the race boat scene worldwide, and with their vast new manufacturing facility in China, McConaghy Boats is very much on the front foot when looking forward on the race boat scene.

Since the release of the McConaghy Ker 40 , Sam’s attentions have been focused on managing and sailing the class in both European and UK based campaigns.
