Steel hull , sprayed with several coats of red lead epoxy primer followed by several coats of epoxy pitch prmer (above water line) > professionally sprayed with insulation foam approximate thickness is 1.5-2.5 inches. Also please note the boat was repainted in Aug 2010 and hence the paintwork is in excellent condition.

Forward Cabin & Anchor Lock: Forward cabin with double V-birth. Good stowage under birth for sails. Good hanging locker & lockers provided both port & starboard. Standing headroom through out with large Lewmar deck hatch. Access to anchor locker & windless via large bulkhead doors.

Saloon: The saloon provides excellent seating for seven dinners. Two very comfortable port & starboard sea births with good stowage below and behind the settee seating. A large mahogany saloon table. Bookshelves and further lockers are set into interior of the hull.

Navigation Area: The chart table is self contained and set to the port side aft of galley settee providing a good navigation position. The chart table area is complimented by plentiful stowage and space for all elctronics. The boats electrics lead to fuse panels above the chart table. Cigar lighter socket 2 X 240 Volt sockets & 350 watt inverter.

The Heads: The heads are located aft of the navigation area on the port side. Blakes Lavac marine heads. Hot & Cold pressurised sink & shower with deep stainless steel shower tray draining into a sump box with pump. Excellent stowage for wet weather gear. The heads radiator is very large and dries wet weather gear quickly.

The Galley: "Otaria" has a large galley for a boat of her size. DOuble sink, SMEV 2 burner cooker with oven & grill. Coolmatic CB 40 ltr fridge freezer -20c. Extensive stowage in cupboards and drawers for long passage stowage. Standing headroom through out with two Lewmar deck hatch.

Aft Cabin: "Otaria" has a very comfortable aft cabin with plenty of storage under the double birth. Lockers, draws and hanging lockers are on the starboard side. The aft cabin provides access to the engine room, stern locker & sail locker. Standing headroom with Lewmar deck hatch.

Gas Locker: "Otaria" has a self contained steel vented gas and flammable fuel locker capable of storing enough gas and fuel bottles for a long distance passage.
