The office at Lymington was acquired by Ancasta in 1994 and is now one of the leading offices in Ancasta’s network.
The marina has berthing for over 600 boats, on-site chandlery, boat hoist facilities, Boat Yard, and a thriving Bar/Bistro. The Western Solent provides beautiful cruising grounds and ease of transit to the Channel.
Lymington is a thriving market town and with the New Forest National Park a few miles away there is plenty to do when you visit. The moment you list your boat with this office, it is immediately available across our whole network – Falmouth to Brighton, Hamble to S France, Cowes to Palma.

Lymington local Charles has worked for the ferry company in Lymington before heading out to the Mediterranean to work on super yachts. After working on various sized yachts Charles spent 11 months aboard a 128ft Sailing Yacht as sole deckhand for the summer season as well as overseeing a full refit during the winter. Charles can now be seen enjoying RIBs in the Solent with friends and takes any opportunity he can to get on the water.
James Moved to Ancasta In 2015 after working for another brokerage on the Hamble. Prior to his brokerage days he was an Assistant Harbour Master at Lymington. James is often seen buzzing about in the Western Solent in both power and sailing craft of all sizes. A very seasoned boat handler, James has grown up on and around boats all his life and is a crew member of the Lymington Lifeboat.
The Brokerage Manager of Ancasta Lymington is John Wooldridge who is an extremely experienced sail and power boat broker as well as a member of the Beneteau New Boat Sales team. After running his own brokerage, he joined Ancasta in 1998. Since then, he has worked at several of our offices, including Head Office in Port Hamble before moving to Lymington. Outside of work John can be seen whizzing around the Solent on his trimaran.
Tracey joined Ancasta in 2017 and brings with her a wealth of marine industry experience having previously worked for many years for a luxury sailboat manufacturer and more recently a yacht management company. Tracey’s sailing experience includes 60,000 nautical miles on sail, motor and catamarans in the UK, Med, USA and Caribbean as well as two Atlantic crossings. These extensive miles combined with her industry knowledge and strong commitment to client relationships makes her the ideal Broker to help you sell or purchase the boat of your dreams.
