The Lagoon 421 is the multihull of choice for liveaboard couples. This is because she packs more accomodation and storage space for her size than any other catamaran on the market, so you can truly live on the 421 as comfortably as you would expect to do at home. Her chunky mouldings and deep cockpit coamings add the the general feeling of safety and security throughout.
The reality of long distance sailing is that you will be short-handed much of the time, Although there is a comfortably padded a double helm seat, all sailing controls are easily handled by one - especially if the electric sheet winches (in addition to the standard electric mainsail winch) are chosen.
Down below the the 421 benefits from full size island beds in each of the three or four ensuite cabins, no none of your family and guests can feel short-changed. The forward guest cabin is often preferred by owner when cruising in hot climates, being furthest from the dock in noisy harbours and where the big hatch will draw the best of the breeze into the cabin when at anchor.
Not everyone's sailing plans involve distant horizons. The 421 is simple to sail, reassuring, safe and makes a fabulous mobile weekend retreat for everyone to enjoy.
Ancasta can offer a host of custom features not offered by Lagoon, such as flexi solar panels, SSB radios, dive compressors, custom cabinetry and even full domestic size washing machines!
