Buying a new boat from Ancasta has many benefits, but one of the benefits which really make Ancasta stand out from all of our competitors is the strength of our Aftersales department. Our team of experienced technicians and engineers is dedicated to ensuring that your boating remains fault free for the duration of your ownership. Whilst we are proud of the premium products and brands that we represent, nothing can get away from the reality that boating occurs in harsh, unforgiving and often extreme environments. Salt water, big seas, high loads and long passages mean that from time to time your boat may need a professional’s touch or a service expert to keep her performing as good as new. That’s where we come in.

The commissioning team at Ancasta are responsible for making sure that the new boat we handover to you makes all of your dreams come true! The majority of new boats are commissioned at our commissioning centre in Port Hamble Head Office, near Southampton. Those destined for the Mediterranean are commissioned by Ancasta technicians in Southern France. The process takes approximately two weeks, although more time may be allocated for boats with larger specifications or equipment requirements. Once the commissioning process is completed you will be given a full handover day with one of our technicians to talk you through all the elements of your new boat and its equipment.

Ancasta International Boat Sales is one of the few brokers in the UK to be able to manage a sale through ABYA’s Customs Warehousing Scheme. This scheme allows boats from outside the EU to be sold in the UK without the requirement for VAT to be paid until the sale completes or the boat exits the EU again. Owners of such boats would otherwise be obliged to pay VAT upon entering the EU. This scheme is ground breaking and Ancasta has been instrumental in working with ABYA and HM Revenue and Customs in order to attract overseas vessels to be sold in the UK market.
