The commissioning team at Ancasta is responsible for making sure the new boat we handover is to your personal requirements and specification. The majority of new boats are commissioned at our commissioning centre in Port Hamble Head Office, near Southampton. Those destined for the Mediterranean are commissioned by Ancasta technicians in Southern France. The process takes approximately two weeks, although more time may be allocated for boats with larger specifications or equipment requirements. Once the boat is commissioned and ready for handover you will be fully supported and a full handover day will take place with one of our skilled technicians to talk you through all the elements of your new boat and its equipment. Once you have taken ownership of your new boat you will be fully supported by our Aftersales team.

"Just to say ‘thank you so much’ for the handover on Friday of our Oceanis 35. You far exceeded our expectations of the day and it was handled with the utmost professionalism, especially down to the little touches like the cutting of the ribbon, photographs, the presentation of the champagne and jackets laid out in the boat and the whole handover process made us feel very special..... Once again, very many thanks for the day."

"Thank you all for a very enjoyable and informative day yesterday when you handed over our Swift Trawler 34. It was much in line with all of the process so far with Ancasta. Right from the first time we popped in to see you with a pretty tentative enquiry, the whole experience of agreeing the deal, selling our previous boat, commissioning the new one and then the handover has been a great experience."
