Alcibiades II is an Oceanis 50 built in 2006. Formerly a white hull, she was sprayed professionally by HYS in Port Hamble to Aristo Blue and is complemented with navy blue sprayhood, stack pack, exterior cushions, cockpit table cover and wheel covers providing a superb contrast against her teak deck and white GRP coachroof/cockpit. She has had 2 previous owners from new and the current ownership has seen her maintained and serviced annually without any expense spared. The vessel was purchased to serve two purposes, firstly to be used by the owner and his family for weekends away cruising around the west country and the Channel Islands and secondly to be raced by the owner in the Solent. It is plausible to suggest that 'Alcibiades II' has delivered the perfect balance in both cruising comfort and racing performance.
