The accommodation comprises main saloon, 2 heads, galley and 3 cabins.
MAIN SALOON/WHEELHOUSE : with ample capacity for entertaining. Large saloon table. Ample cupboard space including attractive glass fixed drinks & display cabinet. Full entertainment system including satellite TV, DVD player and CD player. Large chart table & attractive steering console.
AFT: Companionway with radiator leading to:

TWIN ROLLS ROYCE C6M 265hp DIESELS - Engines serviced yearly and as of January 2017. Apprx 2100 hrs- June 2017. Commander electronic 'fly by wire' throttle controls at main helm & flybridge (overhauled 2010). Capitol LR3000 gearboxes driving conventional shafts & propellers. Drive train & propellers removed, refurbished & refitted 2001. Max. speed: 10.5 knots. Cruising speed: 10 knots. Range: approx. 2,000 nm at cruising. Power assisted hydraulic steering totally overhauled 2002. Hydraulic bowthruster removed & rebuilt 2001. Vosper stabilisers rebuilt 2003/4 & overhauled 2016.

ELECTRICS: 2 x 225AH engine batteries, 2016. 6 x 110AH House batteries, 2008/ (2x new 2015). Shore power connection at 220v with connectors P&S. Ring main with 220v sockets throughout. Engine monitoring rebuilt 1996. 12v outlet at helm. Earth leakage test system. Specific inverted 220v shore power- aft hall. TANKAGE: 6 x fuel tanks (4 integral tanks for storage & 2 day tanks in steel) 12,000 litres (2640 gallons) refurbished. 1 x fresh water tank in steel 2000 litres (530 gallons) refurbished 2001. 2 x holding tanks (grey) forward & aft in s/s totally refurbished 2001. Pump out to sea via Par Maxi Puppy 240v pump.

WATER SYSTEMS: Whale Gulper automatic bilges pumps on resilient mounts for forward accommodation discharging to holding tank (2002). Whale Gulper automatic bilge pump on resilient mounts with 2-way valve discharge to holding tank aft (2002). Whale Gulper auto bilge pump on resilient mounts with wandering section in engine room & strum box, discharging from starboard engine room sea valve (2002). 2 x further Whale Gulper auto bilge pumps servicing fwd & aft sections of the yacht. General bilge pump in engine room. Bilge suction manifold with SD NR US with 3-way glanded plugcock to feed raw water to fire hydrant/deck wash & to pump out (2002). 2 x Danforth anchors 50m x 0.5" chain stbd, and 70m x 0.5" port. *Krampe hydraulic anchor windlass, rebuilt 2001, with canvas cover (2009) and new clutch 2003.
Pulpit, pushpit/boarding gates/stanchions and solid teak rails, all completely rebuilt 2001. *Floodlights on radar mast. *24v dinghy crane (500g), rebuilt 2008.
*Teak flybridge table. *Horn. *Full cover for flybridge, 2009. *Rebuild of flybridge area in West epoxy and marine ply for instrument console and seating area in flybridge 2002. Ample storage lockers in GRP fitted at that time. They are fully upholstered and form a splendid seating area (recovered 2009). There is also a teak table. *All hatches have flyscreens and there are dead lights for all portholes. *Refurbish & refit of wheelhouse doors, 2008. *Forward coachroof hatch and aft deck hatch replaced with Rondal unit 2001. All exterior hatches were replaced at this time and Vetus ventilators. *Mast removed, grit blasted and repainted in Awlgrip. *Mast arms modified to accommodate Sat phone and Sat TV aerials (new boards 2009), with identical domes. Additional arm forward fitted to take remote searchlight, all 2002. *Fire hose in GRP box on aft deck. *2 x lifebuoys with lights. *Kent Clearview screen and 2 x windscreen wipers. *Spare starter motor and alternator.

"Amazon Queen" is an outstanding boat built to Lloyds 100 A1 standards. She has had extensive refit by her previous and current owners. She is a very capable sea boat with long range ocean passage fuel capacity. She is incredibly well equipped to enable long stays aboard in absolute comfort. This is a custom built boat which must be seen to be fully appreciated. "Amazon Queen"s accommodation has been sympathetically refreshed and is very welcoming. She is centrally heated as well as being reverse cycle air conditioned with radiators throughout the vessel (all new 2009).

Total refit carried out by Berthon Boat Co & completed 2003. Exterior of the yacht was grit blasted to SA2.5 standard. Teak decks were removed. The joinery at upper steering position was modified, plus the sections & aft end of flybridge. Any suspect areas were re-plated. The stanchion arrangements were reworked also. After blasting Hullguard ER was used to protect the metal. She was filled & faired using Allfair filler & ultrabuild. Awlgrip paint system was used throughout, Aristo blue on the topsides & brilliant white on superstructure. The foredeck, side decks, flybridge & aft cockpit were totally renewed with 10mm bonded quarter sawn teak planking on a plywood subdeck. The interior is executed in mahogany & remains original with some updates. The chain locker was grit blasted & re-treated. New drainage was fitted in this area & ventilation added. The bowthruster tunnel area was blasted & re-plated as necessary, & elsewhere at edges of tank tops etc. The hull shell was de-rusted & re-treated. All sea valves were removed & either replaced or refurbished & refitted. New exhaust in s/s 2009. New carpets 2010. List of contacts for spares available. Outstanding sea keeping. Berth available.
