Hanse 470e. This is an exceptional boat - constructed to a high standard using glass fibre reinforced epoxy. She has a beautiful open deck layout and a lot of space below. The general simplicity is enhanced by the self tacking jib that reduces the number of lines on deck, but she comes with the option of using her overlapping genoa for even more power. Most of the lines that there are on deck run in conduits; a feature that adds to the sense of a remarkably uncluttered and spacious layout. Her light and airy saloon is fitted out with a mahogany finish and cream leather upholstery giving an impression of understated luxury. For ease of maintenance, her engine is accessible from both sides as well as from in front.
The previous Dutch owner bought the yacht new in 2008 and sailed her to the South of France. The yacht was only used for holidays and, when not in use, was stored ashore. The current owner bought her in 2012 and has used her very lightly in the Solent. She is in superb condition for her age and combines comfortable accommodation with excellent sailing performance.
