This 41 boasts a fin lead keel and is perfect whether you are sailing locally on the weekends, or making an extended passage to new ports of call..
A well maintained Legend 41, clean and comfortable, with two cabins of generous size and proportion. The galley is a masterpiece of design and effective use of space and the open saloon. Home from home comforts and enough space to spread out and relax for all aboard her. The deck layout is arranged to maximize space to move around the cockpit and to allow easy shorthanded sailing - in short, a good all round cruiser.
Avalon has been in the family since June 2009 when we bought her from the original owner, and sailed frequently along the south coast with two children. In 2011 we sailed to Corfu via Biscay, Gibraltar and the Med and the boat proved to be safe and comfortable even in rough seas. As with all American made boats, the living accommodation is spacious, airy and very comfortable. The centre console in the cockpit allows you to have all the instruments to hand and provides great holding for helmsmen when the boat is sailing in strong winds. The cockpit is also large, comfortable and safe with the custom arch providing additional security when moving around and additionally a great entertaining space, particularly when BBQing at anchor. We bought the boat back to the UK in 2014 as we were unable to spend the time on it that we had originally envisaged. Avalon has been cared for, loved, maintained well and looks much younger than her years, if only we could say the same!
