Principal exterior features

The boat is accessed via open aft transoms, facilitating boarding and disembarking
Broad side decks with integrated deck hatches.
The cockpit is level with the saloon and has an outdoor lounge and sun-lounging area to starboard.
The flybridge is reached either by a staircase leading from the cockpit, or by another leading from the deck on the starboard side.
On the flybridge, the manoeuvring lines are forward of the steering station while a spacious sun-lounging / seating area is located to aft. The helm seating area on this yacht has a special helm seat which converts to a teak dining table on a telescopic leg.
The steering station can be adjusted to three different positions (starboard, centre or port), giving the skipper perfect visibility under sail or when manouevring.
The forward cockpit is a peaceful and cool place to relax at anchor, facing the breeze.
Rigging: performance and user-friendliness

The decision to locate the mast further aft comes directly from the designers’ racing
experience and has many advantages:

• A large forward triangle affords all the simplicity of a self-tacking jib.
• The large forward triangle also means it is possible to use a big Code 0 or cruising chute for
light or downwind conditions.
• The shorter boom makes the mainsail easier to manage than much bigger cats.
• The mainsail, which is relatively narrower and higher, benefits from clear winds at the
top, thus enhancing performance
• The forestay and shrouds are at much wider angles to the mast, thereby substantially
reducing compression: this choice allows the designer to reduce weight, increasing
stability and speed.
• The centralised mast position will considerably reduce pitching.
The collaboration between Nauta Design and Lagoon can mainly be seen in the association of geometric forms with luxurious, ‘‘warm’’ materials, while optimising the use of space in the saloon and the cabins.

• The saloon encompasses a lounge and dining table to starboard and a large U-shaped galley galley to port which gives on directly to the cockpit to form a large ‘L’, together with the chart table in the middle, facing out to sea.
• No matter which interior layout you choose, all the cabins have large double beds, storage space in keeping with the offshore sailing programme of the boat and, of course, an en-suite bathroom with separate shower.
• Light and airy: the cabins have incomparable natural lighting thanks to the fixed hull windows, together with excellent ventilation thanks to the deck hatches and portholes that open out to the hull-side or to the cockpit.

This example has a 5 cabin layout. The starboard hull has a large owner cabin aft, with a walk-around island bed, a huge shower and sink area and separate toilet with washbasin. There is a double guest cabin forward. To port there is a double cabin forward, a bunk cabin amidships and another double cabin aft, cleverly accessed via a gull-wing door directly from the cockpit: perfect for separation of crew or those youthful guests who like to stay up late!
PROPULSION
2 Yanmar diesel saildrive engines, (80hp upgrade).
