Since the release of the first boat three years ago, the design team at Ker felt enough had been learnt to implement so many changes, it eventually warranted the build of a second generation model. With the current boat still dominating under IRC, all early indications show that the Ker 40+ will not only continue the tradition of its predecessors fantastic success, but ultimately improve upon the current winning record, with a performance unrivalled by its competitors!”
The 40+ is a semi-custom build and although 3 construction options are availble, Ancasta, McConaghy and Ker can really tailor each build to suit owners desires, whether you are looking for a fully inshore race ready boat, like hull #1 which can now be seen sailing in the UK and already collecting silverwear, or if you are looking at a more offshore driven programme where you simply want to utilise the hull lines and platform that the 40+ has to offer.
Anything is achieveable and the team here at Ancasta are ready to assist with your next potential campaign.
Since the release of the McConaghy Ker 40 , Sam’s attentions have been focused on managing and sailing the class in both European and UK based campaigns.
Knowing the pedigree of the Ker and McConaghy, Sam said that when the opportunity came up with Ancasta to represent this brand and their extremely impressive race boat catalogue, he immediately recognised the potential to take the Ker class and other grand prix boats to the next level of sales and service.
The Ancasta Group MD, Nick Griffith, obviously comes to the party with a wealth of experience under his belt regarding all of our brands, but his personal passion is and always has been racing, which he has been doing since a young man in Australia. Arrving on our shores ..
