The Tarquin 595 owes its lines to American designer Robert Harris. This design has also gone into production as the President 60, the Tarquin has a different super structure and interior. A warped bottom gives a deep-vee entry that becomes medium-vee aft over the props, and undercut chines serve to break the adhesion of water where the bottom panels meet the sides, reducing the drag. The transom has a bustle below the bathing platform which increases the waterline length and compensates for the fine entry forward.
The 595 is more a small ship than a motor cruiser, and it handles like one: it follows its own nose at speed, and in manoeuvres the 1300hp at the props give ample reserve power to position the boat accurately.
'Odd Daisy' has been lived in for the last year, the owner needs to move on now due to a change in circumstances. The price reflects this, alot of boat for the money but she does need some attention !!
After owning a Trader 41+2 I made the move up to the Tarquin Trader 595 due to the incredible living space. Odd Daisy has served me well but I need to move on now.
